Decline of Cheques

Australians are increasingly choosing digital payment methods over cheques. The sixth Milestones Report (November 2016) continues to track the progress of the decline of cheques and the transition of the payments system towards the digital economy.

APCA has monitored the decline of cheques since May 2012 with the release of its report: "The decline of cheques: Building a bridge to the digital economy".
